Mother-Daughter Luncheon

The invitations for the “Luncheon by the Sea” Mother-Daughter Luncheon sponsored by the Friends Women Fellowship should have been handed to you this week at church or by snail mail or email this week. The Mother -Daughter Luncheon will be held Saturday, May 5 from 11:30 to 1:30 in Fellowship Hall. If you don’t have a Mom or Daughter to invite, then you are still a daughter and you are encouraged to invite any one you might want to “adopt” for a mom or daughter or sister for the day! The more the merrier. Just bring a salad dish of any kind to share and we will make a luncheon of all our salads.
We are very blessed to have a dynamic young lady who didn’t let tragedy ruin her life when it came into her family. Her name is Dori Powledge Phillips. Her story is compel-ling and triumphant. You will be blessed, as well as your family and friends, so please invite all the ladies in your life, young and old. Check out Dori’s website at www.doripowledge.com for more information about Dori.
Please RSVP by no later than April 25th and sooner if possible. That will better help us plan layouts for where we will dine and serve. Contact Evelyn Garland at  713-824-4993.
