Morning Thoughts – Protection

Protection

We look to the police and our military for protection in times of
crime and crisis. In reality, God protects us each day from various
potentially harmful events. Think of the man, who was late to
work on 9-11 when he stopped to buy band aids for a blister being
rubbed on his foot by a new pair of shoes. Have you ever started
to leave home and gone back for something you forgot? Then later
down the road you saw an accident. Did you ever wonder if you
would have been involved in that accident if you had not gone back
for what you forgot. God is involved in protecting you each day
from unseen incidents.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “My protection and
success come from God alone. He is my refuge, a Rock where no
enemy can reach me.” Psalm 62:7 TLB

Today, thank God for His protection.
