Morning Thoughts – Word Power

Word Power

When I was a child, (now don’t laugh – yes I was once a child), I heard
“Sticks and stones may break my bones; but words will never hurt me.”
But words can hurt. Words have power – power to hurt, heal, help and/or
influence. God’s Word has inexhaustible power because He has power to
save us from our sins and ensure our home in heaven. When Christ is
preached, taught, and/or spoken of, it is powerful.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel
of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (KJV)

Today, don’t be ashamed of God’s Word – speak it for His Word is POWER.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
