Love

We are about to celebrate Valentines Day, a day in which we show our
love to our family. But what is love? To know love is to understand the
concept of love in light of God, who is Love. Because God is love, Love is
the most powerful force in the universe. Love can change the heart of
the most hard hearted individual. To get a glimpse of just what God’s love
is about, spend some time in 1 John.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “Dear friends, let us love one another,
for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and
knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:7-8 (NIV)
