Basic to Wisdom

Have you ever wondered how to be wise or how to have an understanding
of life – our purpose and mission? God’s word says reverence and fear of
God are basic to all wisdom. Webster defines reverence as “profound
adoring awed respect.” When we know God, He gives us every other
kind of understanding.

Proverbs records, “For the reverence and fear of God are basic to all
wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding.”
Proverbs 9:10 (TLB)

Today, spend some time profoundly adoring our awesome God and
gain wisdom.
