Whatever You Do

My Mom has this saying – ” Every tub sits on it’s own bottom.” It’s her
way of saying everyone is responsible for his/her own actions. If we
were to stop and think about our actions in that context, we all might
make better decisions. Paul said it this way in his letter to the Colossians.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name
of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17 (NIV)

Today, ask yourself is what I do going to be pleasing to God. Am I being
thankful in when I do whatever?
