Have you ever had to go to court? It can be an unsettling experience to say the least. If you are the defendant, you certainly want a credible witness to stand up on your behalf. Are you aware that one day we will all stand before the judge, (God) who will make a determination of our eternal future? For those who have asked Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour, we will have a mediator who will mediate (testify) on our behalf. He is the most powerful witness one could ever have.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (KJV)
Today, prepare for your future trial by ensuring your mediator, Jesus Christ, who has already paid the price for your penalty.
