Faith/Hope – The Link
There is a link between faith and hope. Faith is perceiving as real fact what we hope for – those things we have not seen. We can believe for the greatest hope for all eternity – our salvation; because God gives us a measure of faith. It is His faith. After we have received His faith to believe for salvation, we must exercise that faith to believe for those things we hope for. Perhaps, the salvation of family members, healing, and deliverance from besetting sins.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Hebrews 11:1 (AMPC)
Today, exercise your faith to believe for what you hope.
