Hear

Hear

Do you hear me?  – Oh, how often I have asked that question of my children?  It was almost as though they could turn off the sound of my voice.  How well are you hearing what God has to say these days?  Have you turned off His voice? He is talking to us through events in our world. (Earthquakes, famines, Wars and Rumors of Wars.)  The one thing that makes our hearing dull is sin?  Nobody likes to talk about sin anymore; but, in order to hear our God, we have to deal with our sin.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:14, 20  (NKJV)

Today, deal with the sin in your life and hear God speak.
