In NOT For

There is a misconception that we should be thankful for all of the situations in which we find ourselves. Paul said that we were to give thanks IN every thing. In every thing we can be thankful that God is with us; that He is in control; that He will never leave us; that this day did not take Him by surprise; that He loves us and that He will work everything our for our good. He is good and has a plan for each of us and His thoughts are for peace and not evil and He will give us an expected end.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Today, no matter your situation, give God thanks in the midst of your storm. He has a plan. Trust Him.
