Law Fulfilled

Are you a law abiding citizen?  Do you know that to fulfill God’s law, we are first to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Do you love yourself?  I’m not talking about that boastful, pride filled love.  But to love ourselves, is to take care of our bodies and be a law abiding citizen.  Why? Because we must love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Paul says that Love is the fulfillment of the law.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:9-10 (NKJV)
