Morning Thoughts – Glory

Glory

One definition of Glory is – adoring praise or worshipful thanksgiving.
At this time of year we all get so caught up in activities related to
Christmas, that the real reason for Christmas becomes secondary.
We hear “Happy Holiday”, or “Seasons Greetings” and schools take a
“Winter Break.” How does a Season greet you or an inanimate Holiday
be happy. The only reason for a Winter Break is the celebration of
Christ’s Birth. It is not about presents, food, or parties. It is a time to
celebrate Jesus and give Glory to Him.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “Today in the town of David
a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be
a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a
manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared
with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest
heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2:11-14 (NIV)

Today, give God adoring praise and worshipful thanksgiving for His
Gift to Mankind. Jesus is the best gift.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
