Really Live
What does it mean to really live? In the movie “Secondhand Lions,” the
closing comment was “They really lived.” While, the movie is just that a
movie. It is important to know how to really live. To really live is to have
purpose and to have purpose is to have a life of meaning. Paul discussed
what it means to really live in his letter to the Romans.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim,
this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who
trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way
of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture
has said all along: “The person in right standing before God by trusting him
really lives.” Romans 1:16, 17 (MSG)
Today, trust God and really live.
