Receiving and Giving

When we hear of someone who has a need, many will
give to help those in need. As a whole, we are a giving
people; but, we are not so good at receiving. I think it’s
a pride thing. However, in order to be assured of living
in heaven, we have to receive Jesus, who was given to us
by God to ensure we could be born again.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on
his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will
of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 1:12-13 KJV

Today, receive God’s gift and be born by His will.
