Steadfast

Steadfast

Since Christ is coming again and we will be changed, we are to be steadfast.  To be steadfast is to be resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.  Some of the synonyms for steadfast include loyal, faithful, committed, devoted, dedicated, dependable, reliable, steady, true, and constant.  I’m so thankful we have a savior who forgives us when we are not consistently steadfast.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”  1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
