The Name

Shakespeare said, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”  While he may have been correct about the name of the rose, there is a name of great significance.  The only name that is significant enough to make a difference for all eternity is Jesus.  His name is the only name given among men, whereby we Must Be Save.  His name is above every name.  Scripture tells us that one day at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess HE IS LORD.  Do it now, when it will change your destination for all eternity.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Acts 4:10, 12 (KJV)
