The Race

The Race

The summer Olympics have many races and will begin in a few days.
Currently there is a tight race for the White House.  But, the race that
really matters is the race of faith that each of us run on a daily basis.
Each of us have a different race in that our life circumstances dictate
the race we will run.  There is one certainty and that is the outcome of
our faith race is totally dependent upon our faith and trust in Jesus
Christ.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Hebrews records, “[The Race of Faith]
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily
ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before
us,” Hebrews 12:1 (NKJV)

Today, as others watch your race, run with endurance and faith in
Jesus Christ.
