Morning Thoughts – Why?

Why?

Why is one of those questions for which there seems to be
no answer! Why do innocent young students die? Devastation
in the wake of senseless acts of violence begs to know why?
Reports from around the world and again in our nation of
Christian persecution shocks and dismays us; yet Timothy
wrote, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12 KJV)

Jesus said, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for
righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:10 (KJV)

Today, may the Holy Spirit comfort those families who have
lost children and whose children have been injured in senseless
violence. Stay strong church.
