Sing

Do you sing in the shower, or while doing chores? When you sing,
what do you sing? According to the psalms, A Merry Heart does
good like a medicine. When David was being pursued by King Saul,
he sang of the power of God. He recognized God had been merciful
to him; had been his defender and his hiding place. He is always
watching over us and protecting us during our troubles.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “But I will sing of thy
power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast
been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.” Psalm 59:16 (KJV)

Today, sing and rejoice for the Lord is with you. His mercies are new
each morning.
