A Moment

A Moment

The word moment is described as “a very brief period of time.” What seems brief to some may seem like an eternity to others. Since we have not entered our eternal home, we live in moments of time and are not promised our next breath on this earth.  Paul said our life is but a vapor that appears for a little while and then is gone. Have you ever looked at steam/vapor from a pressure cooker? It is seen briefly and then it disappears. So, no matter your present circumstances, they are but for the moment and since God is in control in each of our moments, trust Him to see you through. You see, He keeps us in each moment out of His great LOVE for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (KJV)

Today, trust God each moment for He is faithful.
