Abide (Part 4)
You and your friend are in a fox hole together. The enemy is out there somewhere. Tensions are high; but, he has your back and you know it. In our world, we have an enemy of our souls. He is out there to steal, kill and destroy our very lives. When we abide in Jesus, He has our back and will not let that happen. Solomon wrote, The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.” (Proverbs 19:23) He waits for you – He longs for you – He LOVES YOU.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” John 15:4 (KJV)
Today, Jesus has your back – spend time with Him.
