Acceptable

Have you ever taken a an old piece of furniture and restored it?  It takes a lot of work,
clearing away the old and making it new.  When Jesus became sin for us and gave his
life on the cross, He changed all who would accept His finished work on the cross and
made us righteous/acceptable.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin
Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as
being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and
acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].”  2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMPC)

Today, rejoice.  You have been made acceptable to God and in right relationship with Him.
