Accepted

Were you ever the  new kid in school or on the block?  It was hard making new friends and being accepted.  Acceptance is never easy.  When a person becomes a Christian and joins the fellowship of a church, they are immediately accepted in the body of Christ.  Joy rings out in heaven and the church rejoices to have a new family member.  Paul said it best.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:4-7 (KJV)

Today, rejoice that you have been accepted into the family of God.
