Advice

Often we receive advice; but do not take heed of that advice for
various reasons.  As I look back over my life, I have come to realize
how wise my parents were even though they were not college
educated.  When the Apostle Paul was about to be beheaded, he
sent some advice to Timothy, his son in the faith.  We would do
well to take heed to that advice.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “You therefore, my son, be
strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  And the things that you
have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful
men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:1-2 (NKJV)
