Are You In

Troubles come and go throughout our lives.  Sometimes they are worse than at other times.  It is what we do during those troubled times that help us to face each day with or without peace.  Do you remember the story of Jesus in the ship when the storm arose and His  disciples became afraid they were going to die?  I used to wonder why Jesus asked His disciples “Where is your faith?”  Then I read a few verses before that question, when He said “Let us go over unto the other side of the lake.”  You see they like we are with Jesus and He has promised we will go over to the other side.  All we need is faith.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.”  Luke 8:22 (KJV)

Today, remember we are in this boat called life with Jesus and He has said we will go to the other side (of this life) with Him.
