No Fear
Do you remember those t-shirts with the words “No Fear” on them?
I’m not sure what that was about; but I do know people who fear
many things – for me it is heights. What is your fear? Do you fear
death? Wow, that’s a big one! Death strikes fear in the hearts of
many. It is the unknown that is frightening. For the child of God,
death holds no fear because we have the promise of heaven.
The writer of Hebrews said it this way, “Since the children have flesh
and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he
might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is,
the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by
their fear of death.” Hebrews 2:14,15 (NIV)
Today, enjoy your freedom from fear provided by Our Savior, Jesus Christ,
who freed us all from the slavery of our fear and broke the power of death.
