Be Strong

Joshua was about to take the millions of Israelites into the Promised Land.  How overwhelming that must have been!  Are you facing a situation that seems to be beyond your control and overwhelming?  What God said to Joshua applies to you today – Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid – God is with you.  For those of us who have received Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have that same assurance.  If you have not asked Christ to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior, you can do that now and have the same assurance that God is with you wherever you go.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Joshua records, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”  Joshua 1:9 (KJV)

Today, be confident of God’s presence in your life.
