Because

That word because was used frequently when my children were growing up.  It was usually followed by the words `I said so.’  However, there were times when the word “because” was followed by a reason or instructions for something.  That word “because” can help us to understand things.  I believe that is why John recorded how God’s love was manifested toward us.  It helps us understand the depth of God’s love for each of us.  His love could only be explained in such a manner.  His love is deeper than the ocean, higher than the sky and wider than the universe.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” 1 John 4:9 (KJV)

Today, get a grasp on the Love of God and be encouraged.
