Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 2)

Beneffit #2 – Healing (Part 2)

Part 1 – God does NOT lie and He is our healer.

Because the Holy Spirit had not come at the time Jesus was here, except to indwell Jesus, “He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.”  (Luke 9:1) If you like many think healings were only done by Jesus and His disciples, let me remind you that subsequent to sending out the twelve, “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. . . (He also gave them the authority and told them to) . . .” heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.” (Luke 10:1, 9)    Remember Jesus said, “. . .Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things so ever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” (John 5:19) Jesus said in John 8:29 “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”  When Jesus heals “all diseases” do you believe the Father wanted Him to Heal all diseases?  Can we believe it was the Father’s will to heal all diseases? (To Be Continued)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103:1-5   (KJV)

Today, Bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.  Receive His benefit of healing of all your diseases.  Let God be true. . .
