Benefit #5 – Satisfy with Good – Renewed (Part 4)

Benefit #5 – Satisfy with Good – Renewed (Part 4)

The Psalmist declared in Psalm 103 ‘God satisfies us with good so our youth is renewed like the eagle’s’.  Just as God renews our youth/strength, Jesus came to give us a new life.  It is so comforting to see the prophecy of renewal being fulfilled in the person of Jesus.  Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul said, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:14) This new life is available to all who will call upon the name of the Lord to be saved. Ephesians 2:4-9 records, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  It is because of God’s Love for all, that we receive the benefits of His Love.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103:1-5   (KJV)

Today, Bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.  Receive His benefit of being satisfied with good so your youth (strength) is renewed like the eagles.  Let Him renew your life through Jesus Christ.
