Burdens

Are you carrying heavy burdens?  Do they seem unbearable?  During those times, I have found that I have but only to whisper the sweetest name ever heard – Jesus.  It is more of a prayer than I can pray at those times.  When I say His name, I’m comforted in the midst of my life storm.  He doesn’t intend for us to bear our burdens with heavy hearts; but to come to Him, learn of Him, and seek the rest only He can provide.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew records Jesus when He said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30 (KJC)

Today, give your burdens to Jesus and find rest for your soul.
