Careful

Careful

How often to do you tell someone to “be careful?”  In these days and times, it is imperative that we all be careful in how we act, how we speak and how we treat others.  What does being careful mean to you?  For me, it means to watch out for the other person on the road, in the coffee shop, at home and wherever I am.  Paul had a few words about being careful, which we can use in our day to day lives.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don’t drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him.”  Ephesians 5:15-18 (TLB)

Today realize God’s word is relevant to the times in which we live; therefore, seek His word for your life and He will lead you always.
