Cast Out

Cast Out

Have you as a Christian ever said or done anything you considered so bad you wondered how you could be forgiven?  Do you then question your salvation?  Most likely, we all have been in that situation from time to time. So, what do you do?  Do you give in to the thoughts that you are lost and nonredeemable?  I have given considerable thought to this issue and am firmly convinced that if our salvation was dependent upon our ability to keep us from being lost, no one would make it to heaven.  No to fear, Jesus is able to keep us to the uttermost.  He will never cast you out.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:37-40 (KJV)

Today, trust Jesus – He is able to keep you from falling.
