When kids are out on the play ground, a team is chosen to play a game. We make many choices throughout our lives. It is the choices we make that determine how our lives are lived. But, when we think about having been chosen by God to be a part of is family, do you wonder why did He choose you? I wonder and am so grateful that he chose me. Paul told the Ephesians God chose them because that’s what He wanted to do and it gave Him great pleasure.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” Ephesians 1: 4-5 (NLT)
Today, think about how it gave God Great Pleasure to choose you and give thanks.
