Cleaning

We always talk about spring cleaning as the time of year to clean our
homes from all of the filth accumulated during the fall and winter.  James
said it is time to do some cleaning in our lives and get rid of the moral filth
and evil.  You might say, you don’t have any moral filth or evil in your heart
or life; but, let’s face it we all do and it is time to let God show it to us and
let’s deal with it.  Folks we need revival in our land and the only way we will
have it is to begin each one individually and get with God to clean our lives.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, James wrote, “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth
and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you,
which can save you.”  James 1:21 (NIV)

Today, let the word of God save you and help you to be clean.
