Clouds

My Mom died last week. While, I can rejoice that she has transitioned from this life and world to her eternal life in heaven, the grief has been overwhelming at times.  During this time of grief, my dear cousin and her husband drove from California to be with us and attend Moms service. A few days after Moms service, the morning sunrise was spectacular. My cousin made a profound statement that has stuck with me. She said, “It takes clouds to make a beautiful sunrise or sunset.” As I grieve over the loss of my Mom, I know this cloud of grief will be used by God to make something beautiful. In the future, I will look upon the clouds of life as an example of the trials we experience from which God will work out for good.  How about you? Have you experienced any clouds in your life?  Have you seen God work through them for your good?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Today, consider the trials of your life. Trust God to make something good out of them.

Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
