Comfort

Comfort

Comfort is “a state or feeling of being less worried, upset, frightened,
etc., during a time of trouble or emotional pain.”  We all need comfort
from time to time.  In this day and time, everyone experiences times of
trouble or emotional pain.  So, where do we go for comfort?  According
to Paul, God is our comfort, who comforts us so we can comfort others.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, [Comfort in Suffering] “Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we
may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort
with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”  2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NKJV)

Today, go to God for your comfort and then comfort someone in need.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
