Confession/Believe

How do we come to know Jesus? Paul said, it is through the preaching of God’s word.  So after you hear the word, actions are necessary to confirm your knowledge of Him.  Those actions include the simplest and most important steps of your life.  Confess Jesus for salvation and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. These two actions are by faith and God, who created the universe and all that is in it, has given unto each person a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
