Endurance

Do you ever have those times when things look really difficult?  How do you handle those times?  Do you grin and bear it or do you look to the Lord to help you through?  How does he help?  Paul tells us he gives us patient endurance and encouragement.  We can make it through the most difficult of times because of God’s intervention for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,”  Romans 15:5 (NKJV)

Today, look for God’s patient endurance and encouragement.
