Fear Not (Part 2)
Zacharias, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the women at the tom, Peter and Paul were told to Fear Not. Each time he told them not to fear, he gave them either instructions or a promise – “Your prayer has been heard, you have found favor with God, the child is of the Holy Ghost, I bring you good tidings of great joy, He is risen, you will catch men, and you will come before Caesar” – Just to name a few in the New Testament. John wrote, “There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18 KJV). Clearly God does not want us to fear anything.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)
