Fear (Part 3)

When dealing with fear, not only are we to bless the Lord, we are to praise Him as well.  Our minds and the thoughts we think are very powerful; but, so are our words.  When in the throws of fear.  The Psalmist said ware are to praise God continually with our mouth.  I do believe that means out loud.  Can’t think of what to Praise God about – how about His great Love for you,  His continual Mercy and His abundant Grace bestowed upon you.  Look back over the past and think of how God has brought you through some of the most difficult times.  Psalm 146:1-2 (reinforces praise,) “Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.”

Inspired by the Holy Spirit,  the Psalmist wrote, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.   O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.   I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34: 1-4 (KJV)

Today, praise the Lord continually out loud.  That praise will encourage you and give you hope when you are afraid.
