Food Pantry success!

The outstanding success of our food pantry has created a need for extras of several items. Janet says they are:

• Peanut butter
• Jelly
• Ramen noodles
• Rice Beans
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Pasta
• Kids Foods
• Canned veggies

So – next time you are shopping, pick up some of these items or… just make a check out to the food pantry and give to Alice Johnson or Janet Breeding!We have been reaching many people with a tangible example of

God’s love through our food pantry. They receive physical and spiritual assistance as they come by. The clients we have served have been very grateful and they in turn have been a blessing to our members who are working in this ministry. The physically and spiritually needy are coming to our Lighthouse for a portion of God’s love. We can meet their basic physical need for food, offer encouragement and most important of all, share God’s love for them and pray for them.

Keeping the shelves full helps keep the physically and spiritually needy coming in! A perfect match for a Lighthouse!

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE IS:   Tuesday mornings at 9 am.

Volunteers are needed to help fill bags for Thursday mornings. Depending on the number served the previous Thursday, replacement bags will be completed for the coming Thursday. If there aren’t a lot of bags, have a cup of coffee, visit and pray! (Always a need to pray!)
