Forever

Is there anything that lasts? Whenever you buy something, the store tries to sell you an “extended warranty,” which may last for an additional year or two. Automobile companies have gotten into the “warranty” game.  I cannot tell you how many calls I have received telling me this is my last call to extend my auto warranty.  Nothing in this world lasts forever.  So, what about beyond this world and life. We have a promise from God’s Word that although Heaven and Earth will pass away, God’s Word will last forever.  Have you trusted in His Word for your life after this one passes away?  If not, it is not too late.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when He said, “Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.” Matthew 24:35 (NLT)

Today, be assured of the security we have in God’s Word. His promises are true, and He is faithful to keep them.
