Did you ever receive a gift you did not want or one that you did want? What was the difference in your reaction? I’m sure you were much more excited about those gifts you did want. There are gifts God has given to us to help us in this journey of life – power, love and a sound mind are just a few. Likewise, He has not given us fear. Fear can be paralyzing and not something you or any of us want.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Today, fear not, be excited about the gifts God has given you – the gifts of power, love and a sound mind to accomplish the tasks before you.
