Good vs. Evil

Since the beginning of time, mankind has been given a choice between good and evil.  Each day we have choices to make between good and evil.  How do we choose?  Is it based upon some internal understanding of what is good and what is  evil or do we need guidance?  It is both.  You see as children, we are taught what is good and what is evil.  As such, there is an internal understanding of good vs. evil that develops. However, as an adult, we continue learning to judge good and evil in more mature matters.  This learning takes place in several ways. For those who will seek Biblical guidance, wisdom is the result.  For those who choose to seek worldly guidance, folly is the result.  Where are you?  Amos recorded the benefits of seeking good and not evil.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Amos recorded, “Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.”  Amos 5:14-15

Today, seek guidance from God’s word and establish judgment accordingly.
