He’s Coming (Part 4)

These messages regarding the Day of the Lord represent the heart and soul of the Old Testament prophet’s messages of long ago.  Yet they are as relevant today as when they were written.

The prophets Zechariah and Malachi agree with the prophets Isaiah, Joel, Obadiah, and Zephaniah regarding the nearness of the Day of the Lord. “Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:”

Zechariah encourages the coming of the Day of the Lord and that there will be a division or separation at the time of His coming.  That Separation will be between the believers and nonbelievers.  Malachi reminds us God will send us a warning before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord.  Is that warning for us all?  Absolutely, we are to be diligently looking for and working toward the coming of the Lord.  God loves all people and all people matter because Jesus died for all.  Will all people be saved?  Unfortunately, not.  You see, many people have hardened their hearts and are either skeptical as to the validity of the truth of God’s Word or they are under the delusion God will not punish anyone and send them to Hell.

Today is the day of salvation! If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and receive His new life.

Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
