Hiding Place

When you were a child, did you play hide and seek?  From time to time, each of us have events happen in our lives from which we would like to go hide – whether it is the loss of a loved one or even a disease for which we were blind sided.  During those times, we can go to the Lord because he is our hiding place.  He will comfort, encourage and lead us through those difficult times.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”  Psalm 119:114 (KJV)

Today, hide your anxiety, fears and pain in the Lord and hope in the truths of His word.
