Hope

For what do you hope?  Is it a new car, home, boat, clothes, or some gadget? Paul had a few words to say about hope.  He said, “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”  He also said, “Hope makes us not ashamed. . .” and “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? We hope in what God’s word says and we patiently wait for His calling and our inheritance.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Paul wrote, ” The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” Ephesians 1:18-19 (KJV)

Today, rejoice in the hope of God’s calling – He is faithful and we can rely on Him totally.
