Instructions (Part 7)

Instructions (7))

“Fake news” is everywhere; however, as Christians, we are to be sure the words we hear, read and speak are true.  How do we do that?  The source of all truth is found in Jesus.  We are to use all of our knowledge, common sense, and divine leading to keep us on the straight and narrow path. When Paul wrote his instructions to the Thessalonians, they were steps to build upon.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit Paul wrote, “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.  Despise not prophesyings.  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”  1 Thessalonians 5:14-20 (KJV)

Today, may you find joy in your journey and peace in your spirit through close communion with our God.  Learn about Him and His plans for you in His word. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
