Instructions

Do you ever think about the nearness of the end of the world as we know it? When the end is near, what do you think is important?   Peter gave us some instructions as to what is most important.  He said to be alert, sober in mind, pray and love each other.   These instructions will serve all of well for life.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter wrote, “The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.  Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”  1 Peter 4:7-8 (NIV)

Today, heed the instructions of God’s word.
